Horizon Yoga and Therapy is a new, growing holistic centre located on the Dundas escarpment nestled between Christie Conservation Area and Webster’s Falls. We offer a quiet environment dedicated to empowering patients’ health journeys through individualized, non-invasive care and offer a variety of services to support our clients physically, emotionally, and mentally. There is plenty of free parking.
Pilates Instructor
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pilates instructor to join our team. You will be leading small classes with a maximum of 6 so there is lots of opportunity to support each participant. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing centre, work alongside
passionate experienced practitioners, and make a meaningful impact on patients’ well-being.
FULL DETAILS What You’ll Do: ● Contribute to a welcoming, positive, and healing environment for all clients. ● Lead engaging, diverse and safe pilates classes for individuals of all skill levels, ensuring proper techniques and modifications are provided. ● Execute class plans that align with the studio's warm community building philosophy and goals while promoting physical and mental well-being. ● Maintain a tidy and organized studio space, ensuring all props are returned to their dedicated space & room is ready for the next class. ● Provide exceptional customer service by addressing participant inquiries and concerns with care, understanding and tact. What We’re Looking For: ● Strong knowledge of anatomy and movement principles ● Strong teaching skills with the ability to adapt classes based on participant needs ● Strong time management skills, ensuring classes start and end on schedule while accommodating participant needs. ● Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly ● Commitment to client-centred care and on-going professional development ● Capable of working individually performing opening and closing duties as required ● Excited to join a team passionate about supporting others on their healing journeys. Job Type: Part-time/ contract Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Osteopath
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Osteopath Practitioner to join our team. New graduates are encouraged to apply. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing centre, work alongside passionate experienced practitioners, and make a meaningful impact on patients’ well-being.
FULL DETAILS What You’ll Do: ● Provide high quality osteopathic manual treatments tailored to individual needs ● Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs to develop personalized treatment plans. ● Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress ● Educate clients on the benefits of osteopathy and wellness strategies ● Work collaboratively with other practitioners to deliver holistic care ● Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in osteopathy ● Contribute to a welcoming, positive, and healing environment for all clients. What We’re Looking For: ● Registered and in good standing with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners or Ontario Federation of Osteopathic Professionals ● New graduates and experienced Osteopath Practitioners welcome ● Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication with clients regarding their health conditions. ● Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly ● Commitment to client-centred care and on-going professional development ● Capable of working individually performing opening and closing duties as required ● Excited to join a team passionate about supporting others on their healing journeys. Massage Therapist
